Mumena has led transformative initiatives in Zambia and beyond — recommissioning the Kalaba copper–cobalt project, launching the country’s first pyrolysis plant, and developing hydropower projects at Kabwelume and Kundabwika Falls. His global ventures include chairing Terra Metals Inc. in the U.S. and founding Zaco Investments LLC, bridging investments between Zambia and North America.

Beyond the boardroom, Mumena is a leading figure in redefining traditional governance for the modern era. As Chairman of the Baushi Royal Foundation, he represents 12 chiefdoms working to ensure benefit-sharing from natural resources.
